Bob was born in Cass City, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in 1964 and in 1972, was licensed to practice in Michigan as a Certified Public Accountant. He operated a family business from 1964 to 1970, when he joined the accounting firm of Moore, Hall and Christner. In 1972, he joined Anderson, Tuckey, Bernhardt & Doran, P.C. and has been a partner since 1976. In 1995, Bob became licenses as a Personal Financial Specialist.

Bob feels it is important to plan for the future as soon as you can. "Time passes so quickly, so it is never too soon to start planning for tomorrow," he says.

Bob is a member of the Michigan Association of CPA’s, American Institute of CPA’s, Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Northeastern Michigan Estate Planning Council, the Mid-Michigan Planned Giving Council and is also a member of the AICPA - Personal Financial Planning division. He has also served on several MACPA Committees and serves on the Non-Profit Committee at this time. Bob is a past president of the MACPA Eastern Chapter.
