Jerry earned his accounting degree from Michigan State University in 1972. He joined Anderson, Tuckey, Bernhardt & Doran, P.C. in 1974, after working for two years in a national CPA firm in Lansing. He has over 20 years of governmental auditing experience, and also has a wide variety of experience in agricultural taxation issues.

Jerry believes that quality of service is what separates successful CPA’s from the others. He also believes that accounting skills are a given. "Success," he says, "requires that a CPA must be able to provide something extra."

Jerry is a member of the Michigan Association of CPA’s, American institute of CPA’s, Caro Rotary Club (past president), Co-chair of Caro Habitat for Humanity and a former treasurer of the Caro Community Hospital Endowment Foundation. He currently serves as chairman of the MACPA Agribusiness Committee. He is also an active member of the Caro Community of Christ Church, where he serves as an elder.
